These strawberries both look and taste delightful and pair perfectly with a glass of our sparkling wine.

Ingredients:

  • 400g Large Ripe Strawberries with Stems

  • 200g White Chocolate

  • 2 Drops of Pink Food Colouring

Quantity:

Approx. 25 Strawberries

Time:

Preparation: 30 minutes

Instructions:

  1. Start by rinsing the strawberries and pat them completely dry.

  2. Place the non-stick baking paper onto a baking tray.

  3. Next you need to slowly melt the white chocolate by popping the chocolate into a bowl placed on top of a pan of simmering water.

  4. Once the chocolate is melted, divide it into two bowls and add a few drops of the pink food colouring to one of the bowls.

  5. Gently dip the strawberries one by one into the melted pink or white chocolate, coating them until almost covered. Lift and twist each of strawberries over the bowl after dipping them in the chocolate, this will allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.

  6. Once you are satisfied with the chocolate coverage, place the strawberries onto a tray lined with baking paper and pop these in the freezer to set.

  7. Pour the remainder of the melted chocolate into two separate piping bags. Once the first layer of chocolate has set cut a small tip off the corner of the piping bag. Gently squeeze the pink or white chocolate through the hole in the piping bag to decorate your strawberries.

  8. Finally, put the strawberries back in the fridge and wait for your decorative designs to set.

Now your perfectly decorated strawberries should be all set to serve up, place them next to your bottle of Doe Eyed Queen to create a beautiful table display!
